Congress to approach election commission against SNDP’s party symbol

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The KPCC will lodge a complaint to the central election commission requesting not to grant them ‘hand symbol’ for the party Bharat Dharma Janasena floated by SNDP Yogam general secretary Vellappally Natesan, said its chief V M Sudheeran. Addressing the media, he said the symbol is similar to the symbol of the congress.

Centre’s stand on the Mullaperiyar issue is aggressive. Their stand is like neglecting the people of Mullapperiyar, blamed Sudheeran. A Raj Bhavan march would be staged under the leadership of the congress on December 16 in protest against the price fall of rubber and cardamom.

A decision has not been taken in shifting the DCC presidents. All other members except DCC presidents who have completed ten years would be exempted from their organizational charges. Inactive DCC presidents and office bearers will be removed, he said.
