Missing students traced in Goa

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Students missing from Valiyathura have been traced in Goa. They were taken into custody from the Madgaon railway station in Goa. The students were brought to Kasargod in Netravati Express last night with the help of the Goa police. The railway police will reach the capital city this evening with the students of Valiyathura Vallakkadavu Bangladesh Colony and then hand them over to the Valiyathura police.

The five plus one students went missing from Vallakkadavu late on Monday. The boys, all aged around 16 years and students of two schools in Vallakkadavu and Valiyathura, went missing from 9 pm on Monday.

They had left their homes earlier in the day saying they were going to attend a wedding. Though their mobile phones were mostly switched off, one was switched on in between, and based on the mobile tower location, police suspected the gang to have reached Goa.
