Joshy and their aide Sujith repeatedly raped her, in turns.

The girl didn’t disclose to anyone what had happed to her, fearing that the videos would be leaked,.  The father and son later used to ask the girl to come to the place of their choice and handed her over to many of their clients. The incident came to light when Operation Big Daddy team questioned Joyce. The police also met the girl and recorded her statement.

The police said the accused confessed that they had sold the girl to several VIPs in Ernakulam and Alappuzha as part of their flesh trade. The girl who had to discontinue her studies after the incident is currently under the protection of her family. Joyce’ revelations dragged the girl into the case. The police believe not only this girl but several other school girls would have fallen into the sex trap.

The investigation team said they are in a kind of crisis as many victims don’t come forward to give evidence against the accused, fearing humiliation.
