THRISSUR: Noted scriptwriter Mani Shornur died here Wednesday morning. He was 71. He died at a private hospital in the district where he was undergoing treatment for old age ailments. He would be cremated tomorrow.
He had scripted for films like Devaragam, Aamina Tailors, Oru Mutham Manimutham, Mayilattom, Sarkar Dada and Greetings. He had written dialogues for Sreekrishnapurathe Nakshathrathilakkam and Kottaram Veettile Appoottan.
