KOCHI: A vigilance probe has found that Baburam, benami of former minister K Babu facing vigilance probe in disproportionate assets case, has land in 41 places. Of these, 27 dealings took place when Babu was the minister.
The vigilance had confiscated the documents of the dealings made by Baburam after standing as the benami. He has business contacts in many places. The vigilance has found that Mohanan, a bakery owner and another benami of Babu, has also amassed wealth.
Meanwhile, the vigilance opened and examined the lockers of Babu’s daughter Aishwarya at the Punjab National Bank in Thamanam.
