KOTTAYAM: Kerala Congress party chairman K M Mani has warned the government against side-lining his party by charging false case against it. “There is something mysterious about new FIRs against me. The party will react strongly to this. Though I have left UDF, ID don’t have blind opposition against anyone,” Mani said in his speech after inaugurating Kerala Congress (M) Kottayam district convention.
Mani said there had been some deliberate attempts to exhaust him politically. “Unfortunately, FIR was registered against me. I am not going to say who is behind this. The government should also examine whether cases can be registered against public personalities and politicians in such an easy manner,” he said.
