Decision on Koodamkualm after CC stand, says VS

NEW DELHI: A decision will be taken after knowing central committee’s stand on continuing support in the Koodamkulam strike, said opposition leader V S Achuthanandan.  Party general secretary Prakash Karat will inform their stand at a press meet, he said.

VS said, “I just conveyed the anxiety regarding the strike held in Koodamkulam. The Koodamkulam issue will affect almost 6 crore people of Tamil Nadu, Karnataka and Kerala. The decision on the post of opposition leader will be taken by the party.”

There are many in the congress party who oppose and support K Karunakaran in the case. In the present situation, Chief Minister Oommen Chandy should give a reply in the case.
