Two killed in accident at Kolazhi

THRISSUR: Two persons were killed and two others injured when a car hit a motorcycle at Kolazhi, near here, on Thursday. The dead were identified as Vengala Kaipamadathil Yousuf, 56, and Puthussery Abdu Rahiman, 56. Manaparambil Ebrahim, 59, and Jibin Davis, 24, have been admitted to Thrissur Medical College with serious injuries. According to the police, the car in which the three elderly persons were travelling hit the motorcycle of Davis, a student of Jyothi Engineering College. The driver lost control of the car and rammed it into a tree. The three in the car, from Muvattupuzha, were coming from Shoranur after a timber business.
