No decision taken on Land Use Bill: Oommen Chandy

THIRUVVANANTHAPURAM: Chief Minister Oommen Chandy on Wednesday said after the cabinet meeting that no discussion was held and no decision was taken on the Land Use Bill.

He said there are two commission reports on law reforms with the government. Any discussion will be held only after seeking the opinions of concerned departments on the basis of the reports.

Bills were not discussed in any forum. Chandy clarified that the government has not even thought of making a law for land use.
