Tom Jose’ letter against Sreedharan released

KOCHI: P Rajeev MP Saturday released the letter sent by Tom Jose, former MD of Kochi Metro to DMRC chairman Sudheer Krishna seeking exemption of E Sreedharan from Kochi Metro.

Addressing a press meet along with Justice V R Krishna Iyer, Rajeev said the letter was sent after Tom Jose was expelled from the managing director post.

Tom Jose was behind the exemption of Sreedharan from Kochi Metro. Rajeev asked the state government on what grounds did Tom sent the letter after he was relieved from the post.

The letter asked whether DMRC was ready to provide money and help to the projects in Kerala, has any kind of power given to Sreedharan in the Kochi Metro Project, is he intervening in Kochi Metro with the consent of DMRC are some of the questions raised by Tom Jose.

Rajeev released the order of DMRC entrusting Sreedharan for Kochi Metro. DMRC withdrawing from the project is suspicious.

Krishna Iyer sought government’s intervention in executing the project. The Kochi Metro should be made a reality after including DMRC and E Sreedharan, he said.
