Shoji Murder: Husband agrees to brain mapping


Shaji, husband of Shoji who was found murdered at her house in Kothamangalam, has agreed to undergo brain mapping and polygraph tests. He appeared before the Kothamangalam First Class Judicial Magistrate on Wednesday and gave consent in this regard.

 The police team probing the murder case had moved the Judicial Magistrate seeking permission to conduct brain mapping and polygraph tests on Shaji.

The court had issued a notice to Shaji in this regard on Monday. “Shaji appeared before the court and agreed to undergo the test. We will get the court order this week itself,” the police sources said. The police will send the order to Forensic Sciences Lab in Thiruvananthapuram soon and the date for the test will be fixed later
