Rahul in Kerala?

KOCHI: Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi, who has gone on an indefinite leave from politics , may be in Kerala, it is hinted. It is rumoured that he is in some village bordering Ernakulam and undergoing rejuvenation therapy in some isolated Ayurvedic spa.

The hints are that he is in some Ayurvedic resort near Mulanthuruthi-Amballoore. The resort is tucked away in some region atop a hill and spread over 20 acre land.

This is a resort frequented by politicians and VIPs. In its idyllic surrounding, it provides scope for Ayurveda, yoga, and meditation. The resort staff have been strictly instructed to keep Rahul’s stay a big secret.

It is said that Rahul will return within a week. However, Kerala Congress leaders have no clue about Rahul’s stay. There is also no official confirmation on this.

It has been two months since Rahul left Delhi after announcing that he was going on a long leave to recharge his batteries. There were rumours that he was in Uttarakhand, Thailand and finally in Myanmar, where he was meditating.

Meanwhile, the recent announcement of Congress leader Digvijay Singh that Rahul Gandhi will take part in the April 19 agitation against Land Acquisition Bill has given new hope for party men.
