VS expresses displeasure on ARC

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: V S Achuthanandan, chairman gave a letter to the chief secretary expressing displeasure for not following the things assured while forming the Administrative Reforms Commission. Allotting office of the commission outside the Secretariat is just opposite to what has been assured and is like criticizing the commission, the letter pointed. There were lapses from the side of the government in informing the commission the administrative matters.

VS had earlier requested to allow an office at the Secretariat Annexe. He had also requested to allow Kowdiar House as his official residence. As these two things were not approved, the letter was given expressing displeasure.

Secretariat Annexe was first fixed as the office of the commission. Later it was shifted to IMG. This decision was taken at the beginning of this month. However, the commission was informed about it only yesterday.
