Pension stuck in KSRTC

THIRUVANANTHAURAM:  Pension was stuck in KSRTC following financial crisis. This is the first time the pension is being stuck in the past two years. The board needs nearly Rs 28 crores as pension for 33,000 persons. Pension was given on the 5th of every month after the UDF government assumed office.

Following the financial crisis, the board had sought money from the government for giving pension. The excess liability following the hike in diesel price is the reason cited for the stalling of the pension.
