NEW DELHI: The BJP Sunday claimed to get 34 seats in the Delhi assembly polls. 36 seats are needed for forming a government in Delhi. A senior BJP leader said the exit poll results that the Aam Admi Party (AAP) will get majority will be proved wrong. A BJP meeting will be convened here today to assess the situation after the polls held yesterday.
BJP leader Nirmala Seetharaman visited the party’s chief ministerial candidate Kiran Bedi at her house and held talks. The BJP is confident of forming a government in Delhi, she told reporters after the talks.
