THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Mayor Advocate K Chandirika informed on Friday that she was resigning as National Games District Organising Committee Chairperson. She said she was resigning in the wake of the chief secretary himself raising allegations against the Games. The resignation letter had been handed over to Minister Thiruvanchoor Radhakrishnan.
Her resignation follows the party State Secretariat coming out with the decision to ask its members to quit their respective posts in the Games Organising Committee.
