Tuesday, May 31, 2011: Director of Public Instruction, A.P.M. Mohammad Hanish today informed that the corrected version of the Kerala Higher secondary exam results has been published.
In an embarrassment to the government, the online results for the year 2011 contained errors with many students, who were declared passed, found to be disqualified for higher education.
Taking a serious view of the mistakes that occurred in the online Higher secondary exam results, Chief Minister Oommen Chandy had asked authorities to bring out the corrected version without delay.
The slip-up occurred when the Higher Secondary Education Directorate renewed the examination result after adjusting the grace marks of some students, officials said.
Officials at the Higher Secondary Education Directorate said the error was due to some technical problem. The results were handled by the National Informatic Centre.
