Sunday 22 May 2011: The state film awards would be announced here today by KB Ganesh Kumar, minister in charge of cinema. Adaminte Makan Abu who kept the pride of Kerala high during the national awards is in run for awards under various categories. Salim Kumar and Mammootty are in the final list for the best actor award.While Salim Kumar is being considered for his stunning performance in Adaminte Makan Abu, Mammooty is in the race for his role in Pranchiyetan and the saint. Kavya Madhavan, Navya Nair and Meera Jasmine are considered for the best actress award.
