Earthquake: Aftershocks in Kerala also


 
KOCHI: Aftershocks of the earthquake that occurred in Nepal was felt in Kerala also. Small vibrations was felt in Kaloor and Kadavantra in Kochi also. Following this, the sitting of solar commission was postponed.

CPI former  State Secretary Pannyan Raveendran who had gone to give evidence in the solar case said that even he could feel the vibration.

In North India, the tremor was felt two times at 11:50 am and 12.18 pm. The first quake lasted for 20 seconds and was of 7.9 Richter scale and in the second time it was 6.6.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has announced rescue-relief measures for those who are in need of it. He held talks with Bihar-Sikkim chief ministers and asked the respective governments of the affected states to speed up rescue operations.
