KOZHIKODE: Former Chief Whip P C George came to the fore criticizing the mass contact programme conducted by Chief Minister Oommen Chandy. The chief minister is doing the job of a village officer and asked him to stop it. The programme is an insult, he said. George criticized the chief minister at a time when the latter started the second phase of his mass contact programme in Kozhikode.
The UDF Government is neck deep in corruption. The chief minister is even scared of facing the assembly. Allegations levelled against Excise Minister K Babu is the same faced by Finance Minister K M Mani. Still, a case has not been registered against him. The fight against corruption will continue, he said. The budget presented by Mani is anti-farmer. Nobody has ever presented a budget like this before, he said.
