SSLC exams results recorded pass percentage of 97.99

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: As many as 4,58,841 students have been declared eligible for higher studies in the SSLC examinations, the results of which were announced by Education Minister P K Abdu Rabb Monday.

The results that were declared today recorded a pass percentage of 97.99.  When compared to last year, the success rate this year increased by 2.52 percentage.

The minister said moderation was not given this year too. Out of the 4,68,466 appeared for the exam, 4,58841 are eligible for higher studies. Kannur recorded the highest pass percentage of 97.99 and Palakkad the lowest of 93.72.

This year 12,287 students have secured A+. Malappuram district obtained the highest A+.  

1501 schools have recorded a 100% win. 471 government schools, 657 aided schools and 373 unaided schools come under it. In Lakshwadeep, 896 out of the 1128 students have passed.  

SAY exam for those who have failed in one subject will be conducted from May 11 to 16. Plus One classes will start from July.
