Doctors stranded in Nepal safe, says Minister

NEW DELHI: The three doctors from Kerala are safe in Nepal, ravaged by a major earthquake on Saturday, said Minister K C Joseph. The chief minister has intervened to bring back Dr Abin Suri from Nepal. Suri, who was injured in the quake is undergoing treatment in a hospital, the minister said.

Joseph reached Delhi to see that the Keralites brought from Nepal are sent to their native places safely. A meeting was chaired by the minister at the Kerala House Monday morning. The minister has sought the help of helicopters for rescue operations. The centre is providingthe maximum help to Nepal.
