VISAKHAPATNAM: V S Achuthanandan, opposition leader of Kerala has been dropped from the CPM central committee. Instead he has been made a special invitee.
The decision was taken at the central committee meeting convened Sunday morning. 14 new faces have been included in the central committee. When Paloli Muhammed has been dropped from the committee, A K Balan and Elamaram Kareem have been included in it.
