CHENGANNUR: A complaint was lodged to the home minister alleging illegal relationship of his wife, a woman panchayat president, with a CPM local secretary and also an advocate. The local committee secretary and the panchayat member are the villains of this story.
The man’s wife and children were staying in their house when he went abroad in 2009. During this time, his wife was fielded in the panchayat polls as a LDF candidate. She won the polls and became the panchayat president. The complaint alleged his wife’s illegal relationship with the party local secretary after that. When the husband came for leave, she used to fight with him for silly things, leaves the house and goes to her own house which is nearby.
The complaint stated that she used to spend the money sent unnecessarily. In the meantime, the local secretary’s wife left him.
The complaint said the local secretary threatens him regularly and traps him in bogus cases. The complaint lodged to the home minister and chief of Alappuzha district police alleged threat to his life and children.
