THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Education Minister P K Abdu Rabb has said that he was not denying the fact that marks were given to SSLC questions that were just attended. At a press conference conducted to announce the SSLC results on Monday, he made this ‘confession’ when a reporter asked whether the marks were not given for just attending questions.
The minister, who claimed that year by year the SSLC pass percentage showed an upward trend, was also asked about a student who was declared pass in the SSLC though he had just secured four marks for a subject. But to this question, he said he didn’t think that information was right.
