THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: RSP has made its stand clear when CPM State Committee is all set to convene a meeting to discuss plans to bring JD(U) and RSP back to the Left front. The meeting will be held on Saturday.
RSP leaders are of the opinion that the CPM need not expect RSP to be back in the Left front, for now.
“Don’t count on us. We are now staying with a Front based on a collective decision and now there is no reason for leaving the Front. When asked about Saturday’s CPM meeting to discuss the matter , A A Aziz said, “ let them discuss; they can discuss and take a decision on whatever they want.”
There is a strong opinion in the CPM to coax JD(U) and RSP into returning to the LDF. The CPM State committee is going to discuss this though the election of the new Secretariat is its main agenda. The LDF expansion will also be a main point discussed.
