THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: In order to control the rush witnessed at the outlets of the beverages corporation, the government decided to open more counters. New machine will be installed to issue token at these counters. Such counters will be opened at the outlets which have enough space. Liquor will be provided only if a person goes with the token. Not only that the excise department has decided to amass cheap liquor by giving more orders for it.
An unprecedented rush is being witnessed in the outlets of beverages corporation following government’s policy that bar license be issued only to five star hotels. An increase of 12 lakh from the ten lakh is seen. Rush is mostly seen at the outlets on the national highways. Minor scuffle and deterioration of law and order were seen when the rush goes out of control. The government decided to permit more counters following the rush
