JD (U) not to cooperate with UDF jatha

KOZHIKODE:  The Janata Dal (United) has taken a strong stand against the neglect towards them inside the UDF. They have decided not to attend the UDF’s jatha in Kozhikode. JD (U) state president M P Veerendra Kumar said that he would not inaugurate the jatha beginning on May 19 at Kozhikode. The decision was taken at the office bearers meet convened on Sunday.

The state president had earlier stated that they were not given the consideration given to RSP. Due consideration was not given at the Lok Sabha polls also.  Meantime Chief Minister Oommen Chandy Tuesday said the charges levelled by the state president are being examined.
