THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Krishna Kumar alias Kichu, assistant private secretary of Finance Minister Dr Thomas Isaac died here Sunday night due to cardiac arrest. He was 47. Though he was taken to the hospital, his life could not be saved. His body would be cremated at the Thycaud Crematorium at 4 pm this evening.
Krishna Kumar after taking MPhil from Jawaharlal Nehru University, was the official in the finance department of the secretariat. He was with Thomas Isaac from 1993 onwards. He was with Isaac when he was the minister last time and was in the staff when he was the MLA also. He leaves behind his wife K Usharani, a teacher of Govt Cotton Hill Higher Secondary School and son Rohit Narayanan, an engineering student and daughter Kalyani, a ninth class student.
