Chandy begins talks with Sonia

NEW DELHI: Chief Minister Oommen Chandy is holding talks with the representatives of high command in Delhi in connection with the entry of Ramesh Chennithala into the cabinet. The talks with Sonia Gandhi are the most important. Chandy held talks with Ahmed Patel, the political advisor of Sonia Gandhi.

The details of the talks held with Chennithala in connection with the post of deputy chief minister will be conveyed to the representatives of the high command.  Discussions will also be held on the league too staking claim for the post.

A decision will be taken to conciliate the League and a consensus will be taken after holding talks with the high command. Chandy and others hope the high command will permit to create the post of deputy chief minister in the existing political situation.
