Students injured in accident

ALAPPUZHA: Two students were injured when a school bus fell into a paddy field at Edathua on Monday. Thirty-two students escaped unhurt. The paddy field was filled with water after the puncha harvest. The injured were identified as Sreejesh and Krishna Priya. They were admitted to the government hospital in Edathua and discharged later. The students of Vijayamatha English Medium Public School, Kozhupunna, were on their way to attend the first day of the new academic year. The police have registered a case.
