THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: DIG S Sreejith, who was suspended from service for his connection with noted industrialist K A Rauf, has been reinstated into service. The decision was taken by a panel including the chief secretary and police chief.
Meantime, departmental inquiry against him will continue.
He was suspended when he was the joint director of the Thrissur police academy following a report submitted by the intelligence in connection with his continuous links with Rauf.
