PERUNNA: NSS general secretary G Sukumaran Nair came to the forefront harshly criticizing Chief Minister Oommen Chandy. Nair said Chandy is intolerant on the entry of KPCC chief Ramesh Chennithala into the cabinet.
While talking at the budget presentation of NSS, he said the reason for the crisis in the UDF is this intolerance of the chief minister.
Nair said the congress state leadership broke the deal made with the NSS during election time. A deal was made after late congress leader Vilasrao Deshmukh arrived at the NSS headquarters.
The NSS also decided to initiate legal proceedings against Chandrika for publishing an article criticizing the organisation and its general secretary. The resolution presented said the reply of the daily was not satisfactory.
Nair presented a budget of Rs 105 crores after offering floral tributes to the samadhi mandapam of its founder leader Mannathu Padmanabhan. NSS president P N Narendranathan presided over the function.
