College student dies in accident

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: A college student riding pillion was killed on the spot after a super-fast bus knocked her down. She has been identified as Amina (22), native of Nedumangad. The youth riding the bike sustained minor injuries.

The accident happened in Nalanchira at 9.30 am Tuesday morning. She was a second year graduate student of University College. She fell from the bike and died after the bus ran over her. The body has been shifted to the mortuary of the medical college hospital.
