THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Opposition leader V S Achuthanandan said Home Minister Thiruvanchoor Radhakrishnan should be slapped for his statement against them in connection with the solar fraud case.
Talking to reporters after the assembly was adjourned, VS said, “I was not able to slap him as I was sitting far away from him and also my hands didn’t reach him.”
Thiruvanchoor had stated that teargas shells were used when the protestors attacked the cops.
VS said Chief Whip P C George should be given a chance to reveal what he knows about the solar case. One should not disbelief George who saved the chief minister in the vigilance case. Even though two staff members of the chief minister were removed, no action has been taken against them. This shows that the chief minister is involved in it. We want the chief minister to resign in the case.
