KOCHI: Rajasthan Royals cricketer S Sreesanth, who was released from jail in connection with the IPL spot fixing case, reached Kochi Wednesday morning. The cricketer, who reached in an Air Indian flight along with his friends, was accorded a grand reception by his fans and friends at the airport.
Talking to reporters here, Sreesanth said, “I’m innocent. I don’t have any role in the spot fixing case and I’ll be able to prove it. I’m trying to forget the 27 days spent in jail. Even my enemies should not have this fate”.
He said, “I thank all those who have supported me when I was in jail. I’m happy to have reached my home town and excited to see my parents, friends and fans.”
