NSS will not say Chandy is playing communalism, says Vayalar Ravi

NEW DELHI: The Nair Service Society (NSS) will not say that Chief Minister Oommen Chandy is playing communalism, said Union Minister Vayalar Ravi.

NSS general secretary G Sukumaran Nair may say that.  Talking to reporters after meeting Oommen Chandy, Ravi said the opinion of Nair should not be taken as that of NSS.

Community organisations will not be allowed to take over the administration of the state. NSS should try to preserve the tradition of its founder Mannath Padmanabhan, he said.

Ravi said it will be good if Ramesh Chennithala is inducted into the cabinet. I’m not interested in becoming KPCC chief, but if the party insists will take up the job.

Chandy has expressed hope in solving the issue regarding the entry of Chennithala into the cabinet, he said.
