KOCHI/KOZHIKODE/THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The march staged by youth organisations owing allegiance to the LDF seeking the resignation of the chief minister turned violent in many parts of the state.
The march staged by the DYFI to the collectorate in Kochi and Kozhikode and to the assembly in the capital city turned violent.
DYFI activists reached the assembly at 12 noon shouting slogans seeking the resignation of the chief minister. The police stopped the march on the road leading to the assembly. The police burst water cannons and tear gas towards the activists when they tried to pull the barricades down.

The march staged to the collectorate in Kozhikode too turned violent.
