Thursday 5 May 2011: The BJP, which has put up a stiff fight in 30 constituencies in the Assembly elections, expects to win up to five seats, party State unit President V. Muralidharan has said.
Muralidharan told reporters that a review meeting of the State office-bearers here felt that the party would improve its performance and the pre-poll projections that it would win up to five seats may prove right.
The vote share of the party was expected to go up from 4.5 per cent to 8 per cent. The performance was reviewed on the basis of the inputs from the district units, Muralidharan said.
