Drunk man found dead on roadside, bar closed

Venjaramoodu: A man, after consuming liquor, died on the roadside on Wednesday. Natives cornered the bar to protest against this and excise officials ordered closure of the bar. 


Sukumaran, 42, from Sumi Bhavan was found dead on the roadside near a petrol pump in Karet. 


Two days back, another man was found dead on the same spot allegedly consuming liquor. Soman, 43, from Kottukunnam was the deceased. Both of them consumed liquor from the nearby bar. Natives surrounded the bar and excise and police officials ordered it to be closed. 


Meanwhile, the bar owner said that both the deceased had not consumed liquor from their bar. Usha is Sukumaran's wife and Subhash and Sumi are his children.
