Sunday, March 25, 2012: The striking nurses at Lakeshore Hospital will begin relay hunger strike from Monday as part of intensifying their agitation, said the United Nurses Association (UNA).UNA stated that during the talks held earlier, the hospital management had promised minimum salary for the nurses, which has not been paid.
The strike will continue till the the authorities accept the terms of agreement signed in the presence of labour minister. The UNA leaders said the authorities should take necessary steps to solve the issue.
