Lower interest rates on educational loans: Minister

Monday, March 26, 2012: Finance Minister KM Mani on Monday urged the bankers committee to reduce the interest rates on educational loans.
At least a 3% reduction on interest rates should be permitted, Minister said.
The date for repaying the loans should be extended. If it is done so, the banks will be able to get back their dues.
