Nurses’ strike : Minister lashes out at hospital managements

Thursday, March 8, 2012: Labour Minister Shibu Baby John today said that the hospital managements are trying to defeat the efforts taken by Government to resolve the issues of nurses.
Talking in the Assembly during question hour he said that the new minimum wages based on the Balaraman Committee report will come into effect on June 1.
