Nursing student drowns
Sunday, March 4, 2012: Anuraj Sukumaran, 19, a final year nursing student at the Thiruvananthapuram Government Medical College, drowned at a pond.
Anuraj, son of Othara Pombithara Sukumaran, who came for the State conference of the Kerala Government Student Nurse Association, drowned while taking bath with his friends in the pond near the venue of the conference. The two-day conference was cancelled following the death of the student, sources said.
