Kottayam , March 2, 2012: P N Narendranathan Nair has been elected president of the Nair Service Society . His election comes in the wake of the demise of P K Narayana Panicker..Nair was serving as the NSS treasurer for the past seven years.
The director board also elected M Sasikumar as the new treasurer in place of Mr Nair.
Narendranathan Nair who belongs to Payyanamon Pulimoottil House at Konni in Pathanamthitta district, started his career as an officer in the Law Department and later became munsiff. He retired as Principal District Judge, Thiruvananthapuram in 1987.
The director board also elected M Sasikumar as the new treasurer in place of Nair
