PG doctors’ token strike today


Thursday, March 8, 2012: The P G doctors will go on a token strike today demanding withdrawal of the government order forcing them to enter a compulsory service bond for one year.
More than 1000 resident doctors attached to 5 medical colleges are on strike to highlight various demands.
Resident doctors aligned to the organisation will not perform services now being offered for the functioning of the out-patient ward, operation theatre, Intensive Care Unit, casualty and labour room in all medical colleges.
