Political leaders condole Chandrappan’s demise


Thursday, March 22, 2012: CPI (M) State Secretary Pinarayi Vijayan, in his condolence message, today said that C K Chandrappan, State Secretary of CPI was a role model for all communist workers in the State.
Talking to newsmen at CPI(M) district office in Kannur, Pinarayi said that Chandrappan was a senior Communist leader from Kerala who had recognition at national level.
‘He was able to get respect and love from everyone as a good public servant. Without caring about his heath condition, he came for campaigning in Piravom and he always worked to strengthen the left union’, Pinarayi added.
CPU former State secretary Veliyam Bharghavam said that his loss was irreparable.
LDF convener Vaikom Vishwan said that Chandrappan had made a mark in political circles.CPI MP Panniyan Raveendran recalled Chandrappan as a rare and special character in politics.
