Shooting of Edavappathy suspended

The shooting of Edavappathy has been suspended after the versatile actor Jagathy Sreekumar was seriously injured in an accident. M K Soman, the producer of the film said that he was shocked to hear the news and said that he came to know about it when he reached Iritty.


Soman, said, “I passed the same route two hours before the accident. I left early to arrange accommodation for the actor in Coorg Cosmopolitan Club. Jagathy was supposed to reach Coorg at 6 am. The combination scene of Jagathy and Manisha Koirala was to be picturised from Saturday morning. All arrangements were made for the get together arranged in the evening as the film was based on Tibetan people and shot in a different pattern.


Many film personalities rushed to the hospital on hearing the news of the accident. Directors Siddique, V M Vinu, Robin Thirumala, Ali Akbar and screen play writer T A Rasaq reached the hospital. P V Gangadharan, music director Shahabaz Aman, actors Madhu, Jagadhish, Mammookoya,Harishree Ashokan and T Damodaran are in the hospital. Many more are expected to reach the hospital by evening.
