Friday, March 09, 2012: A 48-year-old woman died on Friday evening after she slipped and fell off a train at Chalakudy railway station, police told. The deceased has been identified as Umadevi, hailing from Kozhikode, sources said.The accident occurred, while she was getting off the train, slipped and fell in the gap between the train and the platform. Even though she was immediately rushed to the nearby hospital she succumbed to injuries.
