KOTTAYAM: Chief Minister Oommen Chandy indirectly confirmed seat for Revenue Minister Adoor Prakash in the assembly polls. Talking to reporters in the district, he said Adoor is an eminent leader of the congress and there is no situation for him to contest independently. The minister had the other day hinted that there is pressure on him to contest independently if seat is not given in the Konni constituency.
Chandy lauded KPCC chief V M Sudheeran and said that he works for the good of the party. The high command will decide the congress candidates and everyone should accept her decision. In reply to a question, he said there has been no disputes witnessed usually while choosing candidates.
